Pastoral Care/Community ServiceSo Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11–13
"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' |

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist (to the sick)
|
Those called to serve the body of Christ in the Church as Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers to the sick and home bound are ones who serve Christ himself as He so clearly stated within His Gospel. After appropriate training and guidance they too are called to go out and enter the environments of those who are sick, lonely, elderly, homebound, and at times forgotten by the world. This ministry is one of Love, the sharing of Christ’s love without judgment or prejudice. These faithful people venture into many different environments and situations bringing Christ and his love to many and their families. In doing so they bring peace and joy to those whom they visit and their families.
This ministry requires no “special” skills other than an ability to learn to love as Christ does [a life long journey for us] and an ability to visit these parishioners in their homes. Training sessions are provided by the diocese and must be completed prior to becoming an extraordinary minister. If Interested, contact Colleen Parcells [email protected] 856-845-0123 |

In the colder months they meet at different member's houses. This ministry provides the ladies of the parish some time to visit and share different topics. Each person brings their own lunch and something to drink. This time provides a valued time for the Christian women of the parish to meet and share. St. Vincent de Paul |
Joining the Society of St. Vincent DePaul leads you on a journey towards holiness because being a Vincentian is a vocation-a calling to serve God and his poor. It is an opportunity to put faith into action in a practical way, and in a spiritual context. The primary call of the Vincentian life is to see Christ in those we serve. We grow in holiness and friendship by providing spiritual and material assistance to our neighbors in need.

Youth Group
|
We provide fun and engaging activities as well as service opportunities for students in 5-8th grade. This year we are hoping to expand to the high school level as well. Last year, some of the activities we did were making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for St. Joseph’s house in Camden, making treat bags for a local nursing home and spending time having a home cooked Thanksgiving meal with friends. We meet every other Sunday from 4:30pm-5:45pm in St. Patrick’s Church basement. Immediately following youth group, we attend the 6pm Mass together.

Assembly #1849 4th Degree
|
You can become a 4th Degree Knights Assemblyman by moving through the ranks of the Knights of Columbus. They are the men who have chosen to embrace the Order’s fourth principle of patriotism, the men who lead the efforts to reach out to veterans and active military and to embody the fact that one can be a faithful Catholic and also be a faithful citizen.
Members who wish to live out patriotism together can join “the Fourth Degree.” Members of this degree have the special honor of holding the title “Sir Knight,” participating in color and honor guards and organizing programs that promote Catholic citizenship. The Serving Those Who Served program is a major initiative of the Fourth Degree supporting Veterans Affairs facilities. The Knights of Columbus has representatives at almost every Veterans Affairs medical clinic in the United States, where they recruit and manage K of C volunteers in developing activities and programs that aid patients’ most essential needs.
