Lifelong Faith Formation

The vision of the faith formation ministry area is to engage with the community in lifelong faith formation that nurtures and deepens one's relationship with God. Its focus is to expand knowledge, change hearts, and transform daily lives .

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'
-Matthew 25:40

Adult Faith Formation

This core committee visions and plans adult faith formation opportunities and programs(RCIA)*. New members are always welcome; please consider being a part of our planning team.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Members lead children to a separate area during mass where the Liturgy of the Word is shared with the children from the Children's Lectionary. Members must meet the requirements of the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment by attending  CAP Sessions and other requirements. If interested, contact Irene Clark at 856-845-1660

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The Rite of Christian initiation of Adults, known most often as the R.C.I.A.. is the restoration of the ancient practice of initiating adults (18 years of age and older) into the Catholic Christian community.
Christian Initiation is concerned with the fundamental values of the Christian way of life, thus the R.C.I.A., is actually a sacramental process, not a program. It is a journey of intellectual, emotional, and spiritual conversion. Along the way, R.C.I.A. team mentors and presenters, nurture this conversion process of those individuals seeking membership into the Catholic Church through their support and encouragement.
The R.C.I.A. is actually one rite divided into four Periods. Catechumens (unbaptized persons) journey through these periods by attending weekly catechetical sessions (one evening a week, beginning in September) and several Scriptural sessions called “Breaking Open the Word” on designated Sundays.
If interested, contact Deacon Vince Latini at 856-845-0123 or dvlatini@outlook.com

Marriage Preparation

We at Holy Angels Parish look forward to the opportunity to work with you during this special time in your lives. We want to assist as you prepare for one of the most wonderful experiences of human life — celebrating your love in marriage and God’s presence in your lives. The following Holy Angels guidelines and policies, established by Diocesan Guidelines and approved by the Pastor, are to be adhered to during all wedding services taking place in this parish.

Sacramental Preparation

Catechesis is an education in the faith of children, young people, and adults which includes especially the teaching of Christian doctrine imparted, generally speaking, in an organic and systematic way, with a view to initiating the hearers into the fullness of Christian life.  (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 5) | More on Parish Sacramental Preparation
